HEIMA ER BEZT!
I found a massive stack of these magazines in a second-hand book shop in Akureyri, Iceland, and rifled through it to pick out a handful of the more interesting covers. The simplicity of the layouts and prosaic nature of some of the subject matter are kind of endearing, in their own quiet way. Plus, those bright pink birds are kick-ass.
The publication dates of these particular issues range from November of 1961 to August of 1963. Heima Er Bezt (if Google Translate is to be believed) means Home Is Best. It looks as if the magazine is still going strong, and continues to employ that striking, full-page photo technique on its covers.
